Order issued to AR Geotechnical Engineering Ltd.

The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) issued an order on March 15, 2023, to AR Geotechnical Engineering Ltd. The company holds a CNSC licence for the possession, transfer, use and storage of portable nuclear gauges and is based in Calgary, Alberta.

The order was issued during a routine inspection in Calgary, Alberta. It requires the licensee to discontinue all use of nuclear gauges authorized by the licence until it has addressed, to the CNSC’s satisfaction, all items of non-compliance identified in the inspection report.
