Order issued to Mississauga Metals & Alloys Inc. and David Sharpe

The CNSC has issued an order on May 24, 2023, to Mississauga Metals & Alloys Inc. and David Sharpe on the former Mississauga Metals & Alloys Inc. site located in Brantford, Ontario. Mississauga Metals & Alloys Inc. previously held a CNSC licence to possess, transfer, store, and manage nuclear substances. The site currently has unlicensed possession and storage of nuclear substances on the premises.

The order requires Mississauga Metals & Alloys Inc. and David Sharpe to:

1. Ensure that any trailers containing nuclear substances are not moved, relocated, or transferred to any other location
2. Ensure that no person takes any action to move, relocate or transfer any trailer containing nuclear substances.
