Open house: Regulatory oversight of nuclear projects in the Municipality of Clarington, Ontario

Hosted by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC), the open house aims to share information on Canada’s regulatory process and oversight of various nuclear projects in the Municipality of Clarington.
Our experts will be available to answer your questions on regulation of nuclear projects in the area, including the Darlington Nuclear Generating Station, Darlington Waste Management Facility and the proposed Darlington New Nuclear Project; environmental reviews, waste management and more.
Open house format
We invite you to attend the open house any time between 4 and 8 pm EDT on September 26.
Two Meet the Nuclear Regulator presentations will be held at the event, one at 4:30 pm EDT and the other at 6:30 pm EDT. Both will present the same content on the CNSC’s regulatory framework and the role of regulatory documents. These sessions will not be recorded.
This event will be held in-person only. Virtual (online) participation will not be available.
Language of the event and presentations
