65th Anniversary video: Text version

In celebration of its 65th anniversary, the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) presents the industry sectors that it ensures are operating safely. A video highlights Canada’s safe uranium mining, safe nuclear power, safe nuclear medicine, safe environment, safe nuclear research and safe nuclear waste management, with the image of a galaxy in the background. For each sector, a scene illustrates how nuclear is used in everyday life. The video concludes by stating that the CNSC is proud to celebrate 65 years of nuclear safety in Canada and that it will never compromise safety.
