Over 7 decades of regulatory oversight to ensure the safety and security of Canadians – a proud milestone for all of us at the CNSC. We regulate every application of nuclear in Canada and we’re prepared to regulate new technologies too.

Despite another year of ongoing change and unprecedented challenges, our focus on protecting Canada has never stopped – and it never will. We are committed to future generations and to the peaceful use of nuclear energy around the world.

We are committed to both listening and communicating because we know we cannot maintain confidence in our actions and decisions – which keep workers, the environment and the public safe – without public trust.
