Regulatory Oversight Report – Uranium Mines and Mills
This report evaluates the safety performance of Canada's uranium mines and mills and focuses on the three safety and control areas (SCAs) of radiation protection, environmental protection and conventional health and safety. The report also tracks the ratings of the other SCAs, including waste management, and emergency management and fire protection. A complete review on the safety performance of all decommissioned and historic uranium mines and mills in Canada was included in the 2015 report, and will be reported on every two years going forward.
