Abstract
This presentation concerns the report Health Effects, Dosimetry and Radiological Protection of Tritium produced as part of research studies on tritium releases in Canada initiated in 2007 at the request of the tribunal of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC). It outlines the results of an independent review of scientific literature to assess the health risk to workers and the public from exposure to tritium, as well as an assessment of dosimetry practices for tritium intakes and a review of the current approaches for limiting exposure to tritium.
