Nuclear facility - BWXT Nuclear Energy Canada Inc. - Toronto

BWXT Nuclear Energy Canada Inc. operates two Class IB nuclear facilities under two site-specific licences to manufacture CANDU nuclear fuel bundles. These fuel bundles are for use at Ontario Power Generation’s Pickering and Darlington nuclear generating stations. The facility in Toronto manufactures uranium dioxide fuel pellets from uranium powder under a CNSC licence.

A tall, beige and brown building sits at the end of a tree-lined street. To the left and the rear of the building are parking lots with cars. To the right are train tracks that stretch far past the building. Trees line both sides of the tracks, covering the walls of an abandoned lot to the right.
